Fabricated Chip Handling

Riley Product Handling is preferred supplier to some of the worlds largest fabricated chip producers. Over recent years, Riley Product Handling has developed unequalled know-how and expertise in this field.

Specialist materials and techniques are utilised to transport and accumulate chips between the fryer and the packaging area. Various designs of wire mesh, polycord and belt conveyors take the chips through sections of the system which enable oil absorption, flavouring application, cooling, inspection, flipping, stacking and accumulation to take place. The specific techniques utilised are determined by the required throughput of the system, and other environmental factors, such as ambient temperatures and humidity.

Riley Product Handling integrate their own equipment with specialist third party equipment which for example, may season or inspect the chips.  As main contractor, Riley oversees and guarantees the seamless integration of all equipment involved in such a line.
